Summer 2024 - Stonehaven Folk Festival | Denmark

Myself and the trio have enjoyed a lovely summer of gigs both in Scotland and Denmark. We started the summer with a trip to Stonehaven Folk Festival which was a special gig for me due to being my local festival where I grew up in Aberdeenshire. We had a wonderful night sharing the stage with might musicians: Daoirí Farrell as well as Charlie Mckerron, Tim Edey, Marc Clement & Ross Ainslie - what a fab lineup! Especially lovely seeing some old friends and acquaintances.

Back to Denmark, we played a lovely gig at the SommerOase camp, Aarhus Jazz Festival and then a few street concerts in Esbjerg and Ribe as part of their summer life concert series. Here is a concert review from the Jazz Festival: LINK (note: it’s in Danish but the page can be easily translated!)

Still loving performing music from Land of Eden, but also new material starting to make its way into our set - another album on the horizon perhaps…?
